Lymph fluid
Lymph fluid circulates in the human lymphatic system through the lymph nodes. Lymphatic vessels, fluid and nodes play an important role in the human defense system, and together they transport and remove microbial antigens and toxins from the body. The task of these organs is also to take care of the body’s fluid balance and the transport of nutrients. Disorders of the lymphatic system can lead to increased swelling and manifest e.g. as cosmetic cellulite.
Mechanical lymph treatment
Mechanical lymphatic therapy is a treatment method that uses a special device to stimulate the lymphatic system. Its aim is to improve the circulation of lymph fluid, reduce swelling and promote the removal of waste products from the body. In mechanical lymph treatment, we use a tube-like treatment head with light pressure. With the help of pressure, the lymph fluid can be transported towards the lymph nodes. In lymph treatment, it is important to know the directions of lymph flow, so that the treatment can reduce fluid swelling of the body or face, and remove waste materials. The treatment is painless and often feels relaxing.
Cellulite treatment & mechanical lymph
Lymphatic treatment can be an effective supportive treatment in reducing cellulite, although it does not eliminate cellulite permanently. Cellulite is caused by changes in subcutaneous fat tissue, which appear as uneven and bumpy skin. Disturbances in the lymphatic circulation, poor tissue metabolism and fluid accumulation can worsen the appearance of cellulite, and it is precisely these problems that lymphatic therapy affects.
The effect of lymph treatment on cellulite
- Lymphatic treatment stimulates the function of the lymphatic system, so excess fluid and waste materials accumulated in the tissues are removed more efficiently. This reduces swelling and improves skin elasticity, so cellulite can appear less visible.
- Enhanced lymph and blood circulation brings oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, which supports the normal metabolism of fat cells. A better metabolism helps to remove waste materials and fat breakdown products from the subcutaneous tissue.
- Cellulite-related fluid and fat accumulations under the skin can be reduced when lymph circulation and blood circulation improve. This can make the surface of the skin smoother.
- Lymphatic treatment can relax the skin and connective tissue, which can reduce the uneven appearance of cellulite.
- In particular, mechanical lymphatic therapy can stimulate lymphatic circulation in larger areas effectively and faster.
