About our pigmentation services
Our pigmentation selection includes eyebrow microblading and permanent eyebrow pigmentation. Techniques can also be combined.
Pigmentation is done according to the face’s own features and colors, so the end result is natural.
With the help of pigmentation you’ll be well-groomed in situations where make-up is not suitable. Pigmentation is a good option to “permanently” highlight your facial features.
Pigmentation is well suited for people suffering from make-up allergies, and for people who suffer from problems with vision or alopecia.
The pigments we use are high-quality and safe Swiss Color pigment colors.
Microblading stays in the eyebrows for 7-24 months depending on e.g. skin type and skin care. Our service includes one Touch Up visit, after which the result of the treatment is smooth and long-lasting. The Touch Up strengthening treatment should be done no later than 10 weeks after the first treatment.
Permanent pigmentation remains on the skin for 1-5 years, depending on e.g. skin type and skin care. Our service includes one Touch Up visit. The Touch Up strengthening treatment should be done no later than 10 weeks after the first treatment.
Blue Lagoon Beauty purchases the service from an external service provider. According to the agreement, each service provider is responsible for the work they do.
What is the difference between Microblading and permanent pigmentation?
With the permanent pigmentation device, a more varied results can be made, as the device is used for “colouring” the skin with a pen like instrument. Microblading is only suitable for eyebrows, because the microblading instrument is a special blade, that makes it possible to only draw hair like lines.
Permanent pigmentation lasts longer than microblading due to the amount of color and the technique used. With both techniques, the color is inserted to the same skin layer, but in different ways. Permanent pigmentation uses a machine that applies color to the skin with one needle. The microblading blade, on the other hand, has several needles, and the hairs are cut into the skin manually. A smaller amount of color is applied to the skin than in permanent pigmentation.
Pigmentation is almost painless in the hands of a professional pigmentation artist. With permanent pigmentation, a result is achieved that lasts 1-5 years, and the final result made with microblading lasts 7-24 months.
In the consultation, wishes and expectations are carefully reviewed, because pigmentation is a permanent procedure and it is important that the end result pleases you. In addition, the consultation will review possible contraindications (obstacles to treatment), treatment instructions and the course of treatment. The price of the consultation will be refunded from the price of pigmentation, if you come for pigmentation within six months of the consultation.

Microblading is a brow design that enables beautiful, personal and natural eyebrows. In the Blue Lagoon beauty salons, you will be served by certified professionals specializing in microblading. We use high-quality and safe Swiss Color pigments that have been on the market for a long time.

Microblading consultation
The price of the consultation will be compensated in the price of the treatment if you have the treatment in one of our salons within 6 months after the consultation.
Book the consultation appointment for the microblading artist you want to book the microblading appointment with. If you have some questions about microblading, please have the questions ready for the consultation. During the consultation you will discuss your questions, the course of the treatment, the release of liability form and possible obstacles for the microblading. You also go through the shape of your future microblading eyebrows. The microblading artists have a special technique for defining the shape of the eyebrow depending on the structure of the customers face. If you want you can book the consultation and the microblading at the same time but take note that the time in between these two must be at least 48 hours. This is because it is very important to us that the technology we use meets the customer’s wishes. If you change your mind you can still cancel the booked appointments 24 hours before the appointment.
PLEASE NOTE: The consultation is mandatory for new microblading eyebrows and also for microblading eyebrow touch ups / fixes (if the brows have been made elsewhere).
If you are unable to attend the consultation because of a good reason we will need good photos of your makeup free eyebrows. You can send the photos to info@bluelagoon.fi and address the email to the microblading artist you wish to book your appointment from. After this the artist will have a consultation with you over the phone, and you will get an invoice which is 40€ + 2€ invoice fee. The price of the consultation will be compensated in the price of the treatment if you have the treatment in one of our salons within 6 months after the consultation.

With the Shadow technique, the brows are filled with circular movements with a pigmentation machine. Pigmentations made with the Shadow technique disappear from the skin evenly in 1-3 years without showing strong unevenness in the skin.

The permanent shadow pigmentation is being made with the pigmentation machine. The shadow pigmentation lasts 2-3 years on your eyebrows. The price includes the first pigmentation, one touch up treatment and a care cream for the eyebrows. Please note that a consultation before booking the appointment is mandatory.

"Kävin jo ehkäpä vuonna 2018 Julialla konsussa ja oon koko tän ajan mietiskellyt kulmia. Vihdoin tuli aika toteuttaa tää haave! Mulla on luonnostaan tosi vaaleet ja epämääräisen muotoiset kulmat. Brow Liftillä sain aina vähän pelastettua tilannetta, mutta kulmat on aina ollut niin eriparia, että on ollu hankala meikata niitä. Toiveena oli vain aavistuksen luonnonkarvoja tummemmat ja viileänsävyiset, ja tietysti VIHDOIN symmetriset kulmat. Mulla oli mukana myös inspiskuva." Jasmira kertoo.

🖤 Mitä microbladingissa tapahtuu?
Microblading -toimenpiteen aikana pigmenttiä laitetaan ihon pintakerrokseen eli epidermikseen. Microblading-tekniikalla on mahdollista piirtää hyvin luonnollisen näköisiä karvoja, sillä väriä menee kudokseen pienempi määrä kuin pigmentointineulalla vietynä kulmien pigmentointi-hoidossa. Microbladingilla pyritään imitoimaan luonnollisia karvoja erittäin tarkasti. Valittu väri, kulmien suunniteltu muoto sekä omien kulmakarvojen määrä ja ihotyyppi vaikuttavat kokonaisuuteen.
🖤 Onko MB sama asia kuin tatuointi?
Toimenpide muistuttaa tatuoimista, mutta pysyvyys ei ole yhtä pitkäkestoinen. Microblading-kulmat haalistuvat noin vuodessa. Kulmiin kannattakin tehdä kerran vuodessa ylläpito-hoito, jos haluaa pitää kulmat hyvännäköisinä.

If you are unsure about the suitability of the treatment for you or you want more information about the procedure, you can also send a free digital consultation request to the address info@bluelagoon.fi – the request will be forwarded to our professional. You can attach a picture of the treated area to the e-mail (accurate picture taken in natural light). You can also book an appointment for a fee-based consultation for the days when the provider of the treatment is available. A 15-minute consultation costs 15 euros and the appointment is booked by phone.

Can I book the consultation and the pigmentation treatment for the same day?
