At the same time, you will also receive the final price for the entire service. Usually 1-2 packages of hair are used for thickening and 1-4 packages of hair are used for extensions. The price of one hair package is 115 €. It is good to have at least 3 days between the consultation and the extension service.

In connection with the service, the hair thickenings are cut to the same length as your own hair, so that there are no ends that are thinner or longer than other hair.

Tape extension

Tape extensions refers to attaching hair extensions to hair sections with tape. Tape extensions are the most popular way to attach hair extensions, because the attachment and maintenance is faster than with many other extension techniques, and in addition, tape extensions can be reattached. Because of this, tape extensions are also the most cost-effective way to lengthen or thicken hair.

The maintenance interval for tape extensions is 6 to 8 weeks, when the extensions are gently removed from the hair with a remover intended for them. In tape maintenance, the old tapes are removed and replaced with new ones, after which the extensions are attached to the hair again. When properly attached and cared for, the extensions do not damage the own hair between the extensions.

Cutting hair extensions

Hair extensions are always cut so that they merge beautifully with your own hair. Tape extensions are usually cut less at the beginning in order to be able to use them for as long as possible. In connection with each maintenance, the extensions have to be cut to some extent in order to keep them looking healthy and natural. Extensions should not be cut at home, as the extensions are cut using our own technique, in which our hair stylist has been trained. If the extensions are cut incorrectly and too sharply, it is difficult to reattach them beautifully.

Coloring or toning of hair extensions

There is a wide selection of different shades for hair extensions, from which the shade that best suits the customer’s hair is chosen. Hair extensions are not recommended to be dyed or tinted with an oxidative color, as this may damage the extensions. The extensions have already been processed, so additional processing would burden the extensions even more. If desired, the tone of the hair extensions can be brightened with a suitable toning hair mask or conditioner. You can also use the appropriate silver shampoo for extensions.

Thin hair & hair extension / thickening

With the help of extensions, you can get more volume in your hair with just a few tapes or seals. However, it is not possible or good to attach extensions to all hair. That’s why it’s good to book a free consultation with our hairstylist so that our professional can assess the suitability of extensions or extensions and choose the most suitable extension technique for your hair. Hair loss due to medication or illness, as well as the thickness of an individual hair, are things that may be obstacles to putting in extensions or thickenings.

Hair extension for curly hair

Hair extensions can also be attached to curly hair, if the curls of the hair match well with the curly extensions, or if the customer prefers straight hair more. The most popular extension techniques for curly hair are sew-in extensions and seals.

When attaching extensions to curly hair, it’s good to remember to follow the home care instructions carefully, because improperly maintained extensions can damage and frizz curly hair more easily. Tape extensions are generally not recommended for curly hair, as the attachment point is wide and may pull the curly hair when washing it.
