    We recommend this service when your hair has a little more length and you want to smooth and trim the ends. In a trim cut, the hair is trimmed or cut to the same shape. The service includes hair washing, relaxing head massage and hair finishing.

    We recommend this service when you want to change the style of your hair with a haircut and create a new model for your hair. In a model change haircut, the hair is cut into a new model. Why should you cut your hair regularly?

Heat treatment and chemical treatments such as hair coloring and bleaching and even the sun are examples of things that stress the hair. With these, the sulfur bridges in the hair open, which can be seen in the hair as split ends. In order to prevent damage to the hair from spreading along the hair, this part (the split ends) should be cut off. The more the hair is exposed to stress, the more often the hair should be cut.

Hair cutting therefore promotes the well-being of the hair and thus also contributes to hair growth. The rate of hair growth is individual, some people’s hair grows long and others’ hair stays shorter. Diet can affect hair growth and, for example, lack of iron, stress and age can weaken hair growth.

Haircut – scissors vs machine

Either scissors or clippers can be used to shorten the hair. Hair that reaches above the shoulders is usually cut with scissors. There are many kinds of scissors. The length is most often cut with straight cutting scissors, while the hair can be lightened and layered with lightening scissors or even a knife. These two create more texture and coarseness in the hair, which makes it easier to style your hair at home, for example.

Short hair models are most often cut with a machine, but short hair can also be cut with scissors or by using both a clipper and scissors. The choice of cutting tools is influenced by the customer’s wishes, hair and the desired end result. There are also many different types of clippers, and the clipper blade determines the length of the hair. With clippers, the hair can be shortened much closer to the skin than with scissors. The clippers enable different “Skin Fade” models as well as tidying up the hair on the neck.

Hair lengths

In Blue Lagoon, hair lengths are divided into S, M, L and XL categories:

  • S services are for short hair that falls above the shoulders.
  • M services apply to hair that reaches a maximum of shoulder length.
  • L-services apply to hair that reaches over the shoulders and at most the shoulder blades.
  • XL services apply to extra long and thick hair that reaches below the shoulder blades.
