Gel polish shades & nail decorations

In our salons you can find a wide selection of CrystaLac gel polishes. The range of shades includes the so-called basic selection, salons’ own shades and seasonal colors. Please note that not all lacquer shades visible in e.g. social media photos are always available at all locations, as there may be differences in salon-specific shade selections. Our CrystaLac selection also includes decorative all-inclusive service, which includes the decorations you want. However, we kindly ask you to note that our manicurists are individuals with their own strengths, and there may be differences in decorating skills. If you are looking for a specific style of decoration or a more demanding nail design, we recommend that you check out the work samples of our manicurists on our team page, so that you can find the most suitable nail  professional for you.

Gel polish with one color

As the name suggests, this service includes a single-color gel polish without decorations. The polish can be done with translucent, colored or with basic glitter polish.

All inclusive MINI gel polish

All inclusive MINI gel polish includes simple nail decorations made with one technique, such as foils, glitters, chromes or individual diamonds. Paintings are not part of the all-inclusive MINI services.

French or baby boomer gel polish

French or baby boomer gel polish includes French or faded baby boomer style in white, black or colored without any additional decorations.

All inclusive gel polish

The service includes decorative polish. The base can have a monochromatic polish, French or baby boomer, glitter or other decorations. In connection with all-inclusive gel polish, for example, various unique, abstract or simple paintings and larger diamond arrangements can be made.

All inclusive Master gel polish

The service includes more challenging decorations and paintings. Our professionals who provide this service are specialized in demanding decorations, such as more artistic paintings, and have extensive knowledge of various decoration techniques. In the Master service, for example, a different design designed just for you can be implemented for each nail.

Changing from one nail service to another

Please note that if you have had your gel polish done at another salon, you must first book an appointment at Blue Lagoon for the “removal of gel polish done elsewhere”. Unfortunately, we do not service gel polishes made by another salon.

Changing the CrystaLac gel polish to a natural nail overlay service

If you have a CrystaLac gel polish done at Blue Lagoon Beauty, which you want to change to natural nail overlay, you can directly book an appointment for our natural nail overlay refill service according to the style you choose (one-coloured, French / babyboomer / decorative all inclusive).

Changing gel polish done elsewhere to a natural nail overlay service

If you have a gel polish made elsewhere than at Blue Lagoon Beauty, which you want to change to natural nail overlay, you must first book “Other gel polish removal (in connection with new polish) 15 €” and then an appointment for a new natural nail overlay service.

Changing CrystaLac gel polish to artificial nails

If you want to change your gel polish to artificial nails, you can make an appointment directly for new artificial nails. In connection with the treatment, + 15 € will be charged for changing the service.

Nails chip & split

Dry nails, for example due to the weather or hormonal reasons, can cause nails to dry out and split. Constant washing and disinfecting of hands can also dry hands and nails, which is why it would be good to use hand cream. The best friend for dry nails is cuticle oil, which you should remember to use regularly. Light protection and support can be obtained with gel polish for slightly chipped and cracked nails. Sometimes gel polish can provide the necessary little protection to the nails, which also allows natural nails to get stronger and grow. If the nails are cracking or chipping heavily, or if the problem has lasted for a long time, the natural nail overlay service would probably be a better option than gel polish. Our nail professional will gladly advise you on the most suitable solution for your nails!

Gel polish removal

If you want to get rid of your gel polish, it would be good to have it safely removed by a professional. The removal of the gel polish done in Blue Lagoon is done by dissolving, and an electric file is used for gel polish maintenance. The gel polish should never be torn off. If you have gel polish done elsewhere, you must first make an appointment to remove the gel polish and then you can book an appointment for a new gel polish at Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately, we do not service gel polishes made elsewhere.
