What happens in the removal of pigmentation?
SC Color X treatment
The SC Color X treatment is a patented removal procedure for permanently pigmented and microblading brows, which can be used to remove brows of different shapes and colors. The method is a quick and cost-effective solution for pigment removal, and generally speaking, it is gentler and less painful than laser removal. The color pigment can be removed from the tissue without the harmful ingredients of the pigments getting into the body’s lymph system.
Pigmentation removal treatment in Blue Lagoon Beauty
When removing permanent pigments and microblading, we apply SC Color X remover to the skin using a pigmentation machine. SC Color X treatment is based on physiological lactic acid produced by our body, which evaporates in our metabolism without harmful residues. In general, the removal treatment is less painful than the Permanent Pigmentation or microblading treatment itself. In the SC Color X procedure, small superficial wounds on the skin usually heal without scarring. Each treated area has a maximum size of approx. 0.5cm x 0.8cm. In the procedure, the surface layer (epidermis) is removed from a depth of just under 1 mm.
We always go through the issues related to removing pigmentation during the consultation, the consulation should always be reserved before the procedure. During the consultation, our professional will check your situation and how many removals are enough. It is not always appropriate to try to remove all the pigment, but sometimes just fading is enough. One treatment is often enough for fading.
After pigmentation removal
The duration of healing varies between people, as it is affected by skin type, skin condition and immune system. Usually, healing takes place within 6-12 weeks. Redness in the treated area can last considerably longer in those whose wounds heal worse than normal. Adhering to the aftercare instructions will help the healing considerably. We recommend treating the treated areas with a scar cream after the dry skin comes off. Several treatment procedures carried out too quickly increase the risk of scar tissue, so it is absolutely important to let the skin recover after the next procedure.
Basically, all eyebrows can be treated. However, the probability of scarring increases if the pigmentation or microblading treatment is done too deeply. In this case, it is better to do a more superficial treatment, in which case the tissue may still have color pigment in deeper layers, which can be seen as a light shadow through the skin.
Correction of permanent eyebrow pigmentation or microblading
In the correction of eyebrow pigmentation, the best result is sometimes achieved when failed pigmentations are lightened first, and then new pigmentations or microbladings are done. Please note that the repair plan is always made individually, and for example, eyebrows that are really scarred or treated a lot can’t necessarily be repaired again with permanent pigmentation or microblading.
Superficial and light microblading and permanent pigmentation can often be corrected immediately with a new microblading or pigmentation treatment. Sometimes, however, it is better to lighten the pigmentation first (1-2 treatments) and then do new microblading or permanent pigmentation. However, if the old pigmentations or microbladings are really dark, wide or done deep into the skin, it is often impossible to make them beautiful just by doing new pigmentation treatment.
How pigmentation removal feels depends a lot on the customer, the customer’s skin, the area to be treated, old pigmentations and possible scar tissue, and especially the removal method used. In particular, the laser is often painful or even really painful. SC Color X often feels somewhat uncomfortable, but is less painful than the microblading or permanent pigmentation treatment itself.
