Lip pigmentation step by step
At Blue Lagoon, the permanent lip pigmentation procedure always includes the following:
- A consultation where the shape and color of the lips are planned and the aspects related to the procedure and home care are reviewed.
- Shaping of the lips, before the procedure, using a make-up pencil.
- Pigmentation is a procedure in which the borders of the lips are drawn on the skin with a pigment and a machine.
- Aftercare, care procedures to be performed at home, for which you will receive detailed instructions.
- Confirmation treatment, performed as needed approximately 4-6 weeks after the first procedure.
The first pigmentation session usually takes about 2-3 hours, part of which is used for design. The pigmentation fades from the skin evenly in 1-3 years without showing strong irregularities in the skin.
When planning permanent lip pigmentation, we draw the contours of the pigmentation with a make-up pencil. The shade used for lip pigmentation is chosen by our pigmentation professional, taking into account the color tone of the skin and lips, as well as the wishes for lip pigmentation. Once the drawn lines have been approved, let’s move on to the procedure itself.
Permanent lip pigmentation is carried out with a pigmentation machine, which pushes the pigments into the skin. Pigments fade from the skin little by little, permanent pigmentation completely disappears from the skin in 1-3 years. The persistence of the pigment depends a lot on your skin type and aftercare. A professional pigmentist knows how to do permanent lip pigmentation to the right depth without causing scars, color changes or spreading.
Blue Lagoon Beauty buys the service from an external service provider. According to the agreement, each service provider is responsible for the work they do.
